AGRO Group and Lions Club donate revenues from AGRO Open Day

News, News

In the beginning of September, many citizens of Bad Essen had been attracted by AGRO Open Day with its colourful programme. The revenues from gastronomic offers – 3,600 € altogether – have now been donated for charitable purposes. One of the two projects supported is the realisation of a sound system in the multipurpose hall of Bad Essen primary school, which has just been re-opened after renovation works.

The donation is a common project between AGRO and the Lions Club Bad Essen Lea Wiehengebirge. The last-named service club had organised the cake buffet at AGRO Open Day. 1,800 € have been handed over by the two parties. The remaining part will be financed by the municipality itself. Beside the classes of primary school, especially local sports associations will benefit from the new equipment.
